Microblading is a semi-permanent technique of realistic eyebrow drawing where the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to the facial morphology and golden mean (phi 1,618). The pigment is chosen according to your skin tone and hair color so it matches the natural hair and eyebrows colors. It is applied into the surface layer of the second layer of your skin using sterilized disposable tools. Microblading can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure, such as oily or dry skin. First touch up is performed in 4 to 6 weeks to get the desired result. Microblading is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows. In order to successfully receive the treatment, client’s skin must not be in the regeneration process, in other words, it must not be damaged. If a client has eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, pimples or any damage in the eyebrows area, he/she needs to consult with her/his dermatologist before having this procedure. Any treatments on client’s face, such as Botox, fillers chemical peels, laser treatments and similar should be avoided a month before the appointment. Treatment is done by using a high quality pigments, PhiBrows microblading pigments. After the first session inserted pigment is very dark during the first 5 to 7 days. After 7 days it loses up to 40% of its intensity. If you think that pigment is too dark, be patient and wait for at least 7 days until it fades away naturally. It needs to be healed and peeled; pigment will mostly depend on the skin oiliness. Therefore, the oilier the skin, the shorter pigment's retention will be. Sweating and sun exposure can also affect pigment retention. On average, the expected time for another touch up session is in 10-12 months. However, if the skin is oily, it can take up to 6 months. Also, if the skin is problematic and oily, several such corrections can be made. Please note, that post-treatment care makes 70% of total treatment success. Please follow all after care procedures after leaving the salon, because if you don’t do that, you can lose up to 80% of drawn strokes.
